Chapter Philanthropy and Service

Last year, Omicron was the highest raising chapter in the Northeast.

Our 2013-2014 fundraising total was $72,260.09.

This year, we are off to a great start! We raised just over $10,000 at our annual Delta Diner Pancake Breakfast (roughly $3,000 more than last year).

Some of our sponsors included Stella’s Diner, Byrne Dairy, Dunkin Donuts, Starbucks, and Rockstar Energy.

Our chapter President, VP of Chapter Development, Philanthropy Chair, and St. Jude Representative were given the opportunity to promote the event to the general public on the local channel 9 News.

In addition to this, we donated all of our leftover boxes of pancake batter to the Samaritan Center of Syracuse. It was so great to help kids in the surrounding communities whilst helping those at St. Jude.

We are so excited for our spring philanthropy, Sincerely, Yours (a letter writing campaign), which is to be paired with a Tri Delta parents’ auction for the first time in Omicron history.

And we are even more excited to send our chapter president, Kacy Caminero, and Philanthropy Chair, Hadley Allen, to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital for a Tri Delta Leadership Weekend this coming February!
